Baby Dedication

Present your new little one to the entire Spirit Life community!

At Spirit Life Church we celebrate the birth of children by inviting parents to bring their little ones up on stage and introduce them to our community.

On Sunday, September 4th, immediately following the worship portion of our morning gathering, Ps. Ken will invite all the new parents up front to formally present their children to the church. He will read scripture and pray for each child.

This short observance is a way for parents to declare before their friends and family that they will raise their children in a way pleasing to God.

This is not merely a covenant between parent and child, but also between church-community and parent, committing the full resources of love and support from the community in the raising of these precious little gifts from God. Like life in general, parenting is a tremendous journey of discovery and learning. When the responsibilities that come along with it become overwhelming, the community at Spirit Life Church presents itself as a help. That’s what baby dedicating at Spirit Life Church is all about.

Register your child at the info center or talk with the concierge serving there if you have any questions.
