Merry Christmas Spirit Life Church!
This Christmas Season, we’re putting together something special to help share the love of Jesus with families in need, throughout the Piqua and northern Miami Valley region.
Our Christmas Give Campaign will provide food and presents to area families this holiday season. We will be distributing a substantial amount of formula, baby food and other necessities to area mothers via local charities and other Miami Valley nonprofits. This gesture is possible in part thanks to a generous donation of leftover supplies from TMC, an Ohio daycare conglomerate.
We will also be distributing bulk food items to local food pantries and Christmas presents to local adopt a family programs. This is just a small way we are trying to share the love of Jesus with our neighbors and be a light of hope to our community.
Here’s how you can help:
1) Starting November 28th, Christmas needs will be hanging on a tree located at the back of the main gathering area.
2) We’re asking those who can help to select a clear gift ornament from the tree, purchase the item and bring it back to church.
3) As presents are purchased, they will be wrapped and stored under the tree until they’re distributed.
In addition to the tree, there will be give boxes located at the main church entrances that provide additional campaign details and serve as donation receptacles to support the Christmas Give Campaign. So don’t worry, even if you’re too busy to go shopping, there are still ways to help. What’s even better, is that 100% of the money collected in these boxes will be used to help local families in need this Christmas season.
So get inspired, feel the love and join in—let’s make a difference in our community this Christmas and be generous, gracious givers, like our heavenly father has been towards us:
“He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?” Romans 8:32-33.
If you have any questions or want to learn more about how you can help, send an email to email@example.com or stop by the information center, located at the back of the main gathering area, before or after a service.
